Hindall (What's in a name?)
The surname "Hindall" in all of the many spelling variations is derived from an Old English place name (topographic) -- a Hind's Dale meaning, a valley where (Hind) does can be found: This is my site where I present genealogical & historical projects. Additionally, I have a page called "My Backyard" where as an aspiring citizen-naturalist, I present my observations of natural events occurring in my backyard as well as other nature related musings.
